From the CEO
In 1999, the brief for a luxury hotel spa in the Middle East was straightforward: create a facility that looks impressive and operates reliably. What has changed in 25 years is not the brief. It is the expectation behind every word in it. Today's guests understand treatments, ask about equipment brands, and compare experiences across three continents before they book. The developers building for those guests know that the spa is no longer an amenity. It is a reason to choose one property over another.
What has not changed is our approach. We source from the best manufacturers in the world, we coordinate every element of the project ourselves, and we do not hand over a facility until it is genuinely ready to operate. That discipline is why the same hotel groups keep calling us when the next property is on the table.
"Our clients' interests always come first. That is not a value statement. It is the reason projects we delivered in 2005 are still running the way they should."
This newsletter is for the developers, spa directors, and hospitality professionals in our network. We will share what we are working on, what we are seeing across the market, and the new products and technologies worth knowing about. We hope it is useful.

Featured Project
Movenpick Resort Petra, Jordan
Spa facility upgrade · Moroccan Hammam installation
Scope and delivery
The Movenpick Petra project required a complete spa facility upgrade alongside the design and installation of a Moroccan Hammam. The brief was specific: the new facility had to honour the architectural context of one of Jordan's most visited heritage destinations while meeting the operational standards a property of this calibre demands.
Beauty Leaders managed the full scope: equipment selection, procurement from our global supplier network, logistics coordination into Jordan, installation, and pre-opening staff training. The hammam was built around authentic materials and traditional ritual structure, with the equipment and treatment protocols designed to deliver consistent results across every therapist and every session.
This is the kind of project that defines how a property positions itself for the next decade. Guests travelling to Petra are discerning. The spa experience they leave with shapes whether they recommend the hotel or simply recall it. Getting that right from opening day is what the turnkey model is built for.

Visbody S30: Body Composition Analysis
The data-led addition reshaping wellness programming
Why it belongs in a luxury wellness facility
The shift toward measurable, personalised wellness is the most significant change in the spa and wellness sector in the past five years. Guests who previously arrived for a relaxing treatment are now arriving expecting their time in the wellness facility to connect to a broader health goal. Body composition analysis is the most credible starting point for that conversation.
The Visbody S30 uses 3D scanning technology to provide a detailed assessment of body composition, posture analysis, and shape measurement in under two minutes. The report it generates gives both the wellness professional and the guest a clear, data-backed baseline. Treatment plans, fitness programming, and follow-up consultations can all be built around it. The result is a guest experience that feels genuinely individualised rather than generically premium.
For spa directors managing a facility within a hotel, the S30 also serves a commercial function. A guest with a 3D body assessment taken at check-in has a concrete reason to return: to measure progress. That retention mechanism is difficult to replicate with any other single piece of equipment. We have this available for demonstration at our Abu Dhabi office.
Market Intelligence · MEA Wellness Sector
Wellness is now a primary revenue driver, not an amenity. The major hotel groups operating across MEA are restructuring how they account for spa performance. Properties where the wellness facility operates as a standalone profit centre, with its own programming, retail, and membership model, are consistently outperforming those where spa revenue is bundled into room rate. The implications for fit-out and equipment investment are significant. The brief is no longer "build a spa." It is "build a revenue-generating wellness destination."
Thermal and hydrotherapy experiences are leading new-build specifications. Across the projects we are seeing come to market in the GCC and Jordan, the thermal journey has moved from an optional upgrade to a core requirement in the brief. Plunge pools, steam rooms, ice experiences, and heated relaxation cabins are being specified at the concept stage. Developers who invested in these elements five years ago are seeing them cited in guest reviews more consistently than any other single facility feature.
The supplier relationship that matters most is the one that starts before the brief is finalised. The projects that deliver on time, within budget, and to specification are almost always the ones where the procurement partner was involved at the planning stage rather than called in once the design was fixed. Early engagement allows equipment requirements to be built into the architecture rather than retrofitted into a space that was not designed for them. If you have a project at feasibility stage, that is the right time to speak with us.
