June 2026 · Issue No. 01
This issue: a living room in Islington built around reclaimed oak and lime plaster, a kitchen in Marylebone designed to disappear, and the materials running through both.
Holloway House — Living Room
Islington, London
Reclaimed oak flooring throughout, hand-applied lime plaster walls, and brass fittings salvaged from the original 1890s build. Six months, strip-out to finish.
The Marylebone Kitchen
Marylebone, London
Full-height cabinetry in painted oak conceals everything but the cooking itself. The brief was one word: disappear.
